NGSS asks that science teacher incorporate the practices ofengineering in their classroom. However, most science teachers arenot trained engineers. So, what is engineering? Is it different fromscience?This session will look at how science and engineering are similarAND different and introduce participants to tools that they can use intheir classroom to easily facilitate the process of engineering.Participants will walk away with the confidents to have studentsengage in an engineering based performance task.
